EXAMEN A LA VISTA....

Hoy al llegar al trabajo, me he encontrado con un mail del consejero q nos comunica q le "gustaría" q nos presentaramos a un examen oficial de coreano.... Tiembla mamá!!!!!!!

Me he metido en la web de la organización q lo hace y esto es lo q he encontrado:

4. Test of Proficiency in Korean

A. Purpose
- To show a direction of Korean language study to foreigners and Koreans overseas whose mother tongue is not Korean and expand the areas of Korean usage
- To measure Korean language proficiency and utilize the results for studying abroad or employment at home and abroad.

B. Targets of Application
Foreigners or Koreans overseas whose mother tongue is not Korean
- Korean learners and those who want to study in Korea and overseas universities
- Those who want to work in Korean companies or public organization at home and abroad

C. Test Date
- September Annually

D. Test Administration Authority
1)Supervising Organization: KICE
: To establish a plan, to develop, make and print test items, to distribute, to score, to announce successful candidate and to issue test results and certificates
2) Place of enforcement: Korean Embassy residing in relevant country, Korean Center and Test of Proficiency in Korean (TOPIK) Committee.
: To receive and submit application, to keep test items and answer sheet, to implement test and to notify test result individually

E. Countries and Regions: 46 areas in six countries (based on 2004)
1) Korea: four places (Seoul, Busan, Daejeon and Gwangju)
2) Overseas:
- Japan (15 places): Fukuoka, Hiroshima, Kyoto, Nagano, Nagoya, Niigata, Okayama, Okinawa, Osaka, Sapporo, Sendai, Shimonoseki, Tokyo, Toyama and Yokohama
- China (four places): Beijing, Chengdu, Shanghai and Hong Kong
- Russia (five places): Khabarovsk, Moscow, Sakhalin, St Petersburg and Vladivostok
- The US (six places); Chicago, Huston, LA, New York, SF and Washington
- Kazakhstan: Almaty
- Kyrgyzstan: Bishkek
- Uzbekistan: Tashkent
- Mongolia: Ulan Bator

F. Evaluation Grade: Beginner (First Grade and Second Grade), Intermediate (Third Grade and Fourth Grade) and Advanced level (Fifth Grade and Sixth Grade)

G. Evaluation Area: Four areas (vocabulary and grammar, writing, listening and reading)
- Allocated scores: 400 points in total with 100 points by each area
- Number of test items: First ~ Fourth Grade (30 ~ 35 by area), Fifth ~ Sixth Grade (25~ 35 by area)
- Types of test items: Multiple choice (four options) and writing (less than 10~ 30%)

H. Criteria of Pass: Those who obtain more than 40 points for each evaluation area with an average of above 60 points.
